How long does it take to be fluent in French?
Depending of the definition of fluent, the total hours can be different. According to the Common European Framework of reference (CEFR), the proficiency in the learning process is divided on a six-level-scale.
The hours of each level include the class time and self study. The DELF (Diploma of French Language Studies) and the DALF (Advanced Diploma of French Language Studies) are the International exam for A1 to C2 levels.
